Back to school!

Well, I am a bit behind on the back to school post. I will get to that but first, I wanted to post some pictures of Jake's sweet grandma. She passed away this morning. She was a sweet lady and was always so kind and welcoming to us. You think you have enough pictures of someone you love until you can no longer take more. We love you grandma Carroll. We will miss you!!

So, it is hard to believe that my baby is in first grade. School ALL DAY LONG!! It is crazy how time flies. She has been pretty excited so far. She thinks that she has to wear a skirt everyday though! I told her that it is okay to wear pants once in awhile. Silly girl! I do realize that her backpack is a bit on the HUGE side, but she just HAD to have it! Poor Ry gets pretty lonely without his buddy.

I worked super hard to have a beautiful, plentiful garden this year. My first one even! So you can imagine my dissapointment when this is ALL that it produced! SERIOUSLY?!?! Well better luck next year I guess.
