We got an unexpected pleasant surprise 2 weeks early. I woke up on Saturday the 20th and discovered that I could not walk. My right leg couldn't hold any weight without collapsing. I called my doctor and he told me to try a few different things and if they didn't work, then I should go to labor and delivery to get it checked out. To make a long story short, the doctor decided to start me because he thought it could be a blood clot. They started the pitosin at 5:30 pm and Ryan was born at 10:56pm. Yeah for the fast labor! He was 8 lbs 1 oz 20 1/2 in long. It is a good thing he was 2 weeks early! It is hard to believe that he is now over a week old. This pregnancy seemed to go by pretty fast and so did my labor. He is such a good baby and he is the sweetest thing. It is amazing to me how much you can love these little people that you barely know. Abbey was very excited to have a baby brother. She still is now, but I think it may take a few weeks till she realizes that he is not replacing her.

Yay!!! I am so happy to see some pictures! He is adorable and I need to come hold him again! I am so happy for you guys! I love all the pics! Esp the one with Abs holding him. Congratulations!! :) I am so glad to see your new post and new sweet little guy! I LOVE the name ;)! I know exactly what you mean about choosing a name. Our Ry wasn't going to be Ryan until the day he was born. Who knew!? I thought we would come home from the hospital with Jaxon or Logan! :) It's just funny how sometimes the baby chooses the name instead of the other way around:). CONGRATULATIONS!
